This position will operate an industrial power forklift to move metal stampings, welded assemblies, and finished goods to designated areas. This position will also assist in the storage and retrieval of dies for setup on stamping presses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and complete daily start up, and safety checks on forklift.
• Moving parts from work centers to a designated areas.
• Follow the schedule for setup on weld cells
• Insure that all Material is labeled correctly before leaving Work Center.
• Empty all scrap bins as needed, and at the end of the shift .
• Stacking containers at multiple levels.
• Maintain and help with 5S duties as required.
• Weigh all scrap and record.
• Stacking of wood pallets.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have completed 90 day probationary period
• Must have had no disciplinary actions within the prior 12 month period
• If selected, must agree to remain in this position for a period of 1 year from date of start
• Must have excellent attendance and work history record
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate a lift truck.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with possible shift overlap requirements
• Ability to perform manual lifting up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work within a technical area and willingness to learn and take initiative in new tasks
• Basic math and reading skills
• Experience with programmable scales and weigh counting
• Previous experience with forklift a plus

This position is responsible for maintaining smooth production flow and providing day-to-day leadership for employees in their designated areas for afternoon shift. This position will entail effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and dedication to the quality of the product produced. This position is a working teamleader position and will require the completion of regular production tasks as well as teamleader responsibilities

• Coordinates production tasks with available employees and work load

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must follow safety rules and TS 16949 requirements
• Train employees in job functions
• Oversee the 5S program in the work area
• Must be able to effectively communicate ideas, problems and needs to all employees
• Prioritize tasks with regard to ship schedules and customer requirements
• Learns all production related job functions with the ability to train others
• Establishes a working knowledge of the Truform Quality System and trains others in the use of the system
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must have completed 90 day probationary period

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must have demonstrated attention to safety guidelines and rules
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed
• Must be able to read and understand the weekly/daily schedule
• Must have demonstrated trouble shooting abilities
• Three years experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Must have the desire to have a leadership role
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed

• Must be able to maintain production goals daily
• Must keep work areas organized, clean and stocked
• Must always wear PPE while on the job

• Must have had no disciplinary actions within the prior 12 month period
• If selected, must agree to remain in this position for a period of 1 year from date of start
• Must demonstrate attention to safety guidelines and rules
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be able to read and understand the weekly/daily schedule
• Must be proficient at basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals
• Must be a team player
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed
• Must have the ability to speak and read English
