This position will be primarily responsible for producing components from an Amada press brake, Amada fiber laser and/or Amada NC Turret Punch in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate Amada press brake as directed to meet production goals
- Operate Amada fiber laser as directed to meet production goals
- Operate Amada NC Punch as directed to meet production goals
- Must work with a focus on SAFETY and QUALITY
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must follow all company rules and policies
- Must work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Must follow all safety rules
- Must be able to maintain production goals daily
- Must keep work areas organized, clean and stocked
- Must always wear PPE while on the job
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must have had no disciplinary actions within the prior 12 month period
- If selected, must agree to remain in this position for a period of 1 year from date of start
- Must demonstrate attention to safety guidelines and rules
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to read and understand the weekly/daily schedule
- Must be proficient at basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals
- Must be a team player
- Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed
- Must have the ability to speak and read English
